OZZY RULES MTV RATINGS
RATINGS for “The Osbournes” have been so good, the show’s turned MTV into a virtual Ozzfest.
The show’s March 8 debut attracted about 3.2 million viewers, making it the highest rated premier for any MTV show ever.
Since then, the audience has pretty much climbed steadily into broadcast network territory. It peaked two weeks ago at about 4.3 million viewers and dropping just slightly last week to about 4.1 million.
In the show – the world’s first ever “reality-comedy” – cameras follow Osbourne and his family (wife and kids) in their not-so-everyday lives in Beverly Hills.
