Gov. Paterson is a fan of the new Eliot Spitzer show on CNN, it turns out.

“He is incisive. He is quick,” Paterson told Ch. 4 yesterday. “I actually think it’s a good show.

“If he ever decides to leave that show, as it’s always been in our relationship, I’m available to take his place.”

Paterson is out of a job after the November election.
