MONDAY’S Yanks-Bosox ALCS nailbiter pulled some huge numbers on Ch. 5.

The 14-inning thriller averaged a little over 3 million viewers on Ch. 5 (5:15-11 p.m.) as the Red Sox pulled off a 5-4 stunner over the Yanks – forcing a sixth game in the best-of-seven ALCS.

Viewership for the game built every quarter-hour, reaching a peak 34.3 rating from 10:15 to 10:30 p.m., according to Nielsen.

Nationally, the Yanks-Bosox game snared 17.8 million viewers – up a whopping 76 percent in viewers from last year’s ALCS Game 5 (Yanks-Bosox).

The game as a whole averaged an 11.3 rating from 5:07 to 11:07 p.m. That was up 59 percent from Game 5 last year.

Fox averaged a 14.6 for the night, which ties CBS for the season’s highest-rated prime-time slate thus far (which CBS accomplished with the Sept. 23 season premiere of “CSI“).

Fox, in fact, beat its closest competitor, CBS, by 47 percent for the night.
