THE World Wrestling Enter tainment and the NBA are locked in a fight over Denver’s Pepsi Center.

The WWE booked the arena last August for a Memorial Day “Raw” broadcast next Monday night. But now the Denver Nuggets are scheduled to play Game 4 of their conference final against the Lakers there the same night.

The WWE so far will not back down.

“Even though the Denver Nuggets had a strong team this year and were projected to make the playoffs, obviously Nuggets and Pepsi Center owner Stan Kroenke did not have enough faith in his own team to hold the date for a potential playoff game,” WWE chairman Vince McMahon said.
