THE uneasy coexistence of gay children and their Christian fundamentalist parents is neatly portrayed in this documentary by Arthur Dong.

He zeroes in on three families, including that of Pentecostal church leader Kathleen Bremner who now hosts support-group meetings for parents whose kids have “become homosexual.”

Dong, who is gay, does his best to stay objective. Just how these families interact may surprise you.
