‘THE Big Chill” is restaged in a conference room in “Reunion,” a stultifying vanity piece about a group of Yalies who once belonged to a “secret society” (but not the only one that matters, Skull and Bones).

Now in late middle age, the former classmates, whose little club centered on group therapy sessions, reflect on their lives and loves while sitting around a conference table. Their annoying habit of snapping their fingers when they approve is one among many.

Journeyman character actors such as Jessica Hecht and Cynthia Stevenson head the cast. No one’s problems inspire much interest, and the stuffy banality of the dialogue is multiplied by the lackluster surroundings.

Running time: 95 minutes. Not rated (profanity). At the Quad and the 62nd and Broadway.
