ROCKIN’ FOR THE LADIES: At this year’s annual benefit concert for the Step Up Women’s Network, an outfit dedicated to aiding women in both health and social issues, Philly’s premiere hip-hop band, the Roots, headline an all-star concert lineup. Along with the Roots count in New York homeboy Lou Reed, Fred Schneider of the B- 52’s and supergroup Camp Freddy, which features Dave Navarro of Jane’s Addiction and Velvet Revolver’s Matt Sorum.
