SAME BUCKS, MORE BANG
YOU can see a lot of theater for the price of a VIP ticket to “The Producers.” A whole week’s worth, in fact – both on and off Broadway.
Here’s what I’d do with my theater-going budget:
Neil LaBute’s teasing “The Shape of Things.” Top ticket: $65.
The slyly funny new musical “Urinetown.” Top ticket: $75.
The new comedy “Wonder of the World.” Top ticket: $60.
Elaine Stritch is now in previews with her one-woman show down at the Public. Top ticket: $45.
“The Rocky Horror Show” reopens Oct. 30. Top ticket: $85.
The zippy “Rent.” Top ticket: $80.
The bitch-fest “The Women.” Top ticket: $70.
Total spent: $480.
