TOUGH GAZE AHEAD: Brook Roberts stars in TLC’s upcoming reality series, “The Good-Buy Girls.” (TLC)

TLC is going inside the world of home-shopping networks — with a twist.

The Good-Buy Girls,” premiering June 5, will follow DSN home shopping network hosts Brook Roberts and Tara Gray as they try to revitalize the network’s flagging fortunes.

The women — former pageant girls, best friends and on-air DSN hosts — will start fresh with a new studio in Orange County, Calif. as they they help the network change its business model from hawking rare gemstones and jewelry to just about anything else that sells — including menopause pajamas and doggy treadmills.

The 12-episode series, airing at 10 p.m., also features the requisite cast of “characters,” including their boss, Art — who owns DSN — veteran on-air host Marlene and Ping, the network’s inventory manager.

The series is produced by True Entertainment (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” “Too Cute”).
