Reynolds was the one who recently got down on one knee to propose to “The Other Boleyn Girl” actress. The couple, who have been dating for a little over a year, are both thrilled, Johansson’s rep told People Magazine.

This is the first engagement for Johansson, but the second for Reynolds. The “Definitely, Maybe” star was previously engaged to singer Alanis Morissette in 2004. Their two-year engagement didn’t result in a wedding, with neither party commenting on a reason for split.
