NBC has chosen horror-movie actress Laura Regan to play Pvt. Jessica Lynch in its TV movie about the newly minted folk hero, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Regan made her name in last year’s horror movie, “They.” She also co-starred in M. Night Shymalan’s “Unbreakable” and “My Little Eye.”

NBC hasn’t announced an airdate for the movie, but it’s expected to air during November sweeps.
