Daniel Schorr, the vet eran CBS newsman who made the Nixon White House’s “Enemies List,” died yesterday. He was 93.

Schorr, who later worked at CNN, had been a senior news analyst for NPR since 1985.

In 1971, Schorr’s critical reporting on the Nixon Administration earned him a place on its 20-person “Enemies List,” which also included outspoken actor Paul Newman.

Schorr was one of Ted Turner’s first hires when he founded CNN in 1979.
