New “Late Night” host Seth Meyers is setting his sights on prime time with a new comedy series on IFC.

The cable network on Thursday announced a docu-parody created by Meyers and his former “Saturday Night Live” pals Fred Armisen and Bill Hader as part of its 2015 schedule.

The six-episode “American Documentary” is a series of half-hour documentaries and biopics, each about a completely fictitious subject — political figures, influential artists, titans of industry, iconic cultural movements — and performed by an ensemble cast.

Meyers will executive-produce the series along with Armisen and Hader, who will have recurring roles. “SNL” boss Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video Television will produce.
