Memo to “Jersey Shore”: Take your act elsewhere.

Hoboken, NJ Mayor Dawn Zimmer has denied a request from MTV to film a “Shore” spinoff in her city.

MTV isn’t saying which spinoff it wanted to film in Hoboken, but The Jersey Journal reported last month that the show would revolve around “Shore” BFFs Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jen “JWoWW” Farley.

“Based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents, the city has denied a film permit for a spinoff of the ‘Jersey Shore’ to be filmed in public locations,” Zimmer posted on the city’s Web site.
