Yahoo! is going on TV.

The popular search engine is turning its pop culture site, “Yahoo! Buzz” into a new show.

The show will use Yahoo!’s search engine to identify the top ten things for which people are searching at the time and then expand on those topics, according to the industry trade magazine, Broadcasting and Cable.

Examples of search categories on this week’s top-ten include stories on the finale of NBC’s “Superstars of Dance,” on whether Jessica Simpson is too fat or just a bad dresser and on a promoter who was accidentally killed by a monster truck.

Twentieth Television, a division of News Corp., which also owns The Post, is in talks with ex-MTV veejay, Ananda Lewis to host.

The studio hopes to have the show ready within the next few months.
