SHOWTIME has intercepted “Inside the NFL,” the long-running weekly football highlights show that was dropped by the pay-cable channel’s archrival, HBO, last season.
The new “Inside the NFL” will be produced by CBS Sports (which, like Showtime, is owned by CBS) and NFL Films under a deal announced.
The show’s new broadcast team was not announced, but it is expected that it will come from CBS Sports.
