This weekend, the Bar Belles will put aside our respective Mets and Braves allegiances and, like most New Yorkers, become honorary Yankee fans.

And we’ll be doing our root-root-rootin’ at Gotham’s shrine to the great No. 7 switch-hitter – Mickey Mantle’s sports bar.

Although the spot’s a bit too commercial for our down ‘n’ dirty tastes -touristy crowds and a tres tacky focus on shifting souvenir merch – there’s beer and plenty of TVs on which to watch the Diamond-backs get whupped.
