The Queen in the North didn’t have a regal time.

Sophie Turner opened up about her grueling time shooting “Tomb Raider” during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Julia Cunningham Show.”

“We’ve been doing eight hours a day, five days a week since February last year, of training. Yeah, so it’s been a lot,” the “Game of Thrones” actress, 29, said.

“I’ve learned I have a perpetual back problem, but I also realized that it’s much easier to kind of build muscle if you’ve ever worked out before in your life, which I never had, so it has taken me months and months and months to get into good shape.”

Turner is set to play the iconic character Lara Croft in Prime Video’s live action revival of the “Tomb Raider” series.

“My God… she looks like she stepped out of the games,” one user wrote on X.

“Sophie Turner as Lara Croft is genuinely so striking,” another quipped. “I’ve got full faith this adaptation at Prime Video is going to be REALLY up my alley. I just can’t get over how phenomenal she looks.”

Lara Croft originated as a video game character. Previously, Angelina Jolie played her onscreen in 2001’s “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.” Alicia Vikander also played the role in 2018’s “Tomb Raider.”

Turner, who shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with ex-husband, Joe Jonas, 36, is best known for playing Sansa Stark on all eight seasons of “Game of Thrones.”

Turner’s reveal of having back problems is just the latest health disclosure from a former “GoT” star. In 2019, Turner’s former co-star Emilia Clarke, 39, shortly after filming Season 1 of the HBO show in 2011, had an aneurysm, which also led to a type of stroke called a subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Her other “Go”T co-star Kit Harington, 39, has also opened up about his struggles with sobriety.

“Tomb Raider” doesn’t yet have an announced premiere date on Prime Video.
