‘SOPRANOS’ SET TO $IGN
SEVERAL members from the cast of “The Sopranos” could be getting big-bucks raises today.
Tony Sirico, Steven Van Zandt, Steve Schirripa and Jamie-Lynn Sigler are said to be closing in on new contracts with HBO for the mob opera’s final season and could have deals inked as early as today, according to sources close to the ongoing talks.
HBO has been playing hardball with the actors for months, claiming that they do not deserve more money because the episodes that air next January are an extension of the latest season, which ended last month.
Pre-production on the final eight episodes of the series is slated to begin next week.
