Britney Spears is punching a timecard again – instead of the paparazzi.

The pop-wreck filmed a guest appearance on CBS’ “HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER” last week in which she plays Abby, a bespectacled receptionist at a dermatologist’s office who develops a crush on one of the show’s main characters played by Josh Radnor .

The cast praised Spears (center) for her appearance. “She was hilarious in the table-read, and I got to see her do the run-through as well and she was great,” cast member Jason Segal told People.

Alicia Silverstone backed out of the other guest role on the episode. She was supposed to play the dermatologist but was replaced by “Scrubs” star Sarah Chalke .
