STARR REPORT
‘Feet’ on the Ball It’s interesting to note that Alan Ball, who created HBO’s “Six Feet Under,” wrote and directed the series finale, “Everyone’s Waiting,” which airs Aug. 21 (9 p.m.).
Ball, who oversees the “Six Feet Under” writing team, traditionally wrote one or two episodes a season, but always directed the season finale, according to an HBO spokes woman. It seems only right that he should be the one to write and direct the final saga of the Fisher family.
In last week’s shocker, Nate (Peter Krause) bought the farm after suffering another cerebral hemorrhage.
