STARR REPORT
‘Boys’ night out
The cast of “Jersey Boys” did something last night that’s believed to be a first in Broadway history, leaving their show at intermission to perform elsewhere – which turned out to be CBS’ upfront presentation – then returning in time for the show’s second half. They received a police escort to Carnegie Hall (site of the CBS upfront) when “Jersey Boys” broke for intermission, and were then escorted back to the August Wilson Theatre on W. 52nd.
