Her publicist, David Nash, says the “coochy-coochy” queen (there is dispute over her being born in 1941 or 1951) has approached “Dancing” producers about appearing on the show, which has done wonders in resurrecting ca reers – most recently Marie Osmond (now rumored to be shopping a talk show). “We never comment on casting ru mors,” a show spokeswoman said regarding Charo.
Nash says Charo will appear in VH1’s upcoming reality se ries, “Viva Hollywood!” in which 12 bilingual Latino/ Latina contestants vie to ap pear on a telenovela.
