“Boston Legal” star Wil liam Shatner says he’ll host a talk show for A&E’s BIO net work – and that there’s a good reason he likes to work.

“This is a joyful working place,” he says of his “Boston Legal” cast mates in an AOL Tele vision in terview posted today. “And working is good – it means you’re still there! You’re still breathing.

“If I’m working, I can’t die.”

Shatner also confirms his upcoming talk show on BIO, A&E’s channel devoted to biographies.

“It’ll be [a] weekly, half- hour [show] . . . and I’ll be talking to people – in the be ginning, celebrities so that people will tune in,” he says. “But eventually it’ll be some body’s raw nerve that I might be able to talk about.

“That’s the title: ‘Raw Nerve.’ ”
