With all the attention being lavished on Oscar nominee “Slumdog Millionaire,” I was interested to see if the movie – which revolves around India’s edition of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” – is boosting viewership for the US version, hosted by Meredith Vieira. Final answer? Meh, not so much. At least not yet.

Since “Slumdog” opened in theaters Nov. 12, Vieira’s “Millionaire” (12:30 p.m./ Ch. 7) has remained steady, showing no significant ratings spike. Nationally, it averaged a 2.9 in December; so far this month, it’s averaged a 3.0 (through Jan. 11). That could change if “Slumdog” wins big at the Oscars next month.

The movie did well at the Golden Globes – as did “Entertainment Tonight,” which scored big numbers for its Globes coverage, notching a 5.4 on Jan. 12 (the day after). That was its highest delivery in nearly a year. Speaking of “ET,” weekend anchor Jann Carl has just inked a new deal to remain at the show.

* * *

Music TV: Butch Walker, who’ll be joined by Pink, makes his national TV debut on Tuesday’s “Ellen” (3 p.m./ Ch. 4) – while Akon performs his new single, “Beautiful,” the night before on Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show” (11:35 p.m./Ch. 4). While on the radio . . . Abe Vigoda and Robert Vaughn visit Joe Franklin tomorrow (2:30 p.m./WBBR), and Q104’s Jonathan Clarke spins Bruce Springsteen’s new album in its entirety Sunday (9 p.m.).

Last, but not least:

* Mike Woods (Ch. 5) and Mike Gilliam (Ch. 9) will be honored Monday (Tavern on the Green) as McDonald’s “Black Media Legends.”

* Feb. 23: Melba Moore headlines the Broadcasters’ Foundation gala (the Waldorf). * Obnoxious: AMC’s ginormous-waste-of-paper mailer for “Breaking Bad.”
