It’s not often that someone is “discovered” for a life in show biz like in some 1930s B-movie – but it could be happening to Dawntavia Bullard, who won ABC Daytime’s Fan Feburary contest by re-enacting an entire scene from “All My Children.” Well, she’s been called in to audition this Thursday for a role on “One Life to Live.” Turns out her Fan February tape caught the eye of ABC Daytime VP Valerie McMichael, who heard that “OLTL” needs a 20-something African-American woman and, thinking of Bullard, called “OLTL” executive prodcuer Frank Valentini and suggested he audition Dawntavia. Stay tuned.

Big goings-on over at “Live with Regis & Kelly,” both for the show itself and for co- host Kelly Ripa. “Live” (9 a.m./Ch. 7) ended its annual “Mom’s Dream Come True” show by surprising the audience (138 in all) by informing them they’ll join the show when it broadcasts June 18-24 from the Pride of America cruise ship, which will be taken over by the show and 1,000 “Live” contest winners.

Ripa, meanwhile, will be given the Spirit of Life award by the City of Hope today at the organization’s lunch.

Now that NPR has revived the old Edward R. Murrow radio series, “This I Believe,” it’s reuniting some of the original members of the old Murrow gang tonight in D.C.

Gladys Chang Hardy and Don Merwin, the last two surviving members of the “TIB” production team, will join Murrow’s son, Casey Murrow, and Keith Wheelock, whose father, Ward, founded “TIB,” at The Hotel Madera for dinner. They’ll reminisce about old times and about the show, which Edward R. Murrow launched in 1951 by asking everyone from taxi drivers to presidents to create short essays about the basic values by which they lived. Contributors to “TIB” included Presidents Truman and Hoover, Albert Einstein and Jackie Robinson. The show, which reached 39 million daily listeners, ran until 1955.

NPR re-launched the show April 4 with John Updike, Colin Powell and Errol Morris contributing.

Last, but not least:

* MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” offering its “Jackson Puppet Theater” stick puppets (figures from Michael Jackson’s ongoing trial) on eBay. They’re all signed by Keith.

* Today on CBS FM: Micky Dolenz debuts “For The Time of Your Life” (6:50 a.m.), the new Gotham tourism theme written by Frank Wildhorn and Jack Murphy.
