CNN ‘s Christiane Amanpour is ending her relationship with CBS ‘”60 Minutes,” where she ‘d contributed on a
part-time basis since 1996.
“I have concluded this unique arrangement has now run its course and therefore I have decided not to seek a re-
newal of my contract with ’60 Minutes,'”Amanpour said in a statement.Some believe Amanpour wasn ‘t thrilled with
the amount of face time she was getting on “60 Minutes.”

Nielsen has released some interesting facts pertaining to “Everybody Loves Raymond ,”which wraps its nine-season run Monday night.The show,which premiered in 1996,averaged 10.3 million viewers its first season,a number which grew to 12 million the next season and 14 million in its third season – reaching a high of 17.7 million viewers in the 2001-02 season.This season,”Raymond “is averaging 16.7 million viewers. It ‘s also interesting to note that a 30-second ad on “Raymond “cost $79,000 that first season – compared to $314,000 this season – while Canada Dry Ginger Ale topped the list of “Raymond ” product placements over the years in total screen time.
