Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi will headline a special television benefit concert on NBC tonight to aid victims of Sandy.

The network cobbled together the telethon — which will be staged in a studio in NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza headquarters usually used to tape the “Dr. Oz” show — in short order and announced it only yesterday.

The one-hour telecast will air live at 8 p.m. on NBC’s cable networks: Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA.

The money raised from on-air pledges will go to the American Red Cross’ Hurricane Sandy relief fund.

Donors can also text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 contribution, the network said.

The show will not be open to the public, the network said.

All the stars have local ties. Springsteen and Bon Jovi are from New Jersey. Billy Joel is from Long Island and Christine Aguilera, who is also set to perform, is originally from Staten Island.

The telethon is similar to one NBC staged in 2005 the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina that raised a reported $50 million.
