Even after last week’s foiled bomb attempt, Sting isn’t afraid to venture near New York’s Times Square without The Police.
The rocker plans to write a new Broadway show based on an original idea, entertainment website Deadline.com reported Tuesday.
Sting, 58, will partner with established Broadway composer Brian Yorkie—who won a 2009 Tony Award for “Next to Normal”—for the non-autobiographical tuner.
The British superstar appeared on the Great White Way in 1989 in a short-lived revival version of “The Threepenny Opera.”
