A Texas Red Lobster executive lifted a page from “CSI” to make his suicide look like a murder.

When the body of Thomas Hickman, 55, was discovered in a field with duct tape over his mouth and a bullet hole in the back of his head, police believed he had been kidnapped and slain.

That is until they discovered the gun he had been killed with – tied to a bunch of balloons and snagged on a cactus and bushes near the body.

Cops then recalled, and later viewed, a “CSI” episode from 2003 about a man who made his suicide look like murder by using helium balloons to carry away the murder weapon.

Authorities have so far refused to speculate on a motive for his apparent suicide or why Hickman wanted to make it look like he was murdered.
