Years after Marilu Henner stopped traffic on TV’s “Taxi,” the red-haired siren is still very much in the public eye. She’s just published her third book, “I Refuse to Raise a Brat,” all about child rearing.
A Chicago native, Henner kicked off her career performing in the first national touring company of “Grease” and went on to make more than 30 TV commercials.
Since then the 47-year-old actress has starred on “Taxi” and “Evening Shade,” was featured in the Steve Martin film “L.A. Story” and recently performed on Broadway in “Chicago.” A few years ago, she also hosted a documentary, “We’re Having a Baby,” that followed her second pregnancy right through the 4 a.m. delivery – all of which was televised.
Henner lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Robert Lieberman, and their sons Nicky and Joey.
