TWO out of three ain’t bad.

The rain-soaked Mets/Yankees Subway Series scored strong ratings for the two games the teams managed to play between downpours Friday and Sunday. Saturday’s game – televised nationally on Fox – was called off in the bottom of the fourth inning.

On Friday night, the first game in Shea Stadium was watched in 422,000 households on WB/Ch. 11 and about 320,000 households on YES network, according to Nielsen.

Sunday night’s game, shown exclusively on ESPN, drew more than 684,000 homes, emerging as the evening’s highest-rated ad-supported cable program in the New York metropolitan area, according to ESPN.
