DIANE Neal is set to become TV’s new est legal eagle on “Law & Order: SVU.”

Neal, 26, has signed a deal to appear on the hit drama as a guest star with an option to become a regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

She’s taking over for Stephanie March, who played Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot and is leaving the series after three years.

Neal is no stranger to “SVU” – she made a guest appearance on the Dick Wolf-produced show in 2001.
