Chelsea Bistro & Bar is usually teeming with detectives and assistant district attorneys. But that doesn’t scare anyone. Actually, it’s the big draw: The cast of the hit TV series “Law & Order” regularly investigates the scene after taping at a nearby sound set.

The place is so well known by the “L&O” gang that the show occasionally shoots inside. In fact, the dimly lit, brick and dining room – with a working fireplace – recently served as the backdrop for a warm and fuzzy romance segment.
