NEW York could be targeted for another terrorist attack – next season on “24.” The producers of the hit Fox thriller are in discussions with city officials about filming a portion of the show on location in New York City, according to tvguide.com.
“We’re in conversations,” executive producer Joel Surnow tells the magazine’s Web site.
If the deal goes through, it will be the first time that the show has filmed outside of California.
It’s not clear how or when next year’s storyline will head into New York. This season ended with crack anti-terrorist agent Jack Bauer [Kiefer Sutherland] being kidnapped by Chinese spies, beaten half to death and left on a freighter bound for Shanghai.
