Here’s a first look at “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” Fox’s new drama set just after the second “Terminator” movie ends.

The show, slated to debut in January, stars Lena Headly in the role of Sarah Connor (originally played by Linda

Hamilton) and Thomas Dekker as John Connor, her 15-year-old son.

Three movies have been made from the ‘Terminator’ story – a TV version has been kicked around for more than 10 years.

On the show, the two Connors travel in time from the early 1990s to 2007 to take up the fight against the machines.

Due to the writers’ strike, the premiere of “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” is being moved up to take the place of “24” – which has been postponed.
