Hemline deadline
THE final three contestants of “Project Runway” will face off in a runway show in New York. The design series has proven so popular it’s been extended and its finale is two-hours long. During the episode, each contestant will present their clothing line before the judges, an audience of industry luminaries and host Heidi Klum, who will say, “You’re out” and “You’re in” for the last time. At the end, the winner will be crowned. The winner’s designs will be

Blackmail and murder on Wisteria Lane
EX-MATTRESS model Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) finds herself in another tight spot when she is blackmailed by a high school buddy of John’s on “Desperate Housewives.” Gabby’s predicament is mild compared to what Mike Delfino (James Denton) faces when police question him about Mrs. Huber’s murder. One woman show
SARAH JONES is a young African-American monologist who starred last year in an Off-Broadway show called “Bridge & Tunnel” that was produced by Meryl Streep. Jones won rave reviews for her uncanny portrayals of idiosyncratic men and women of varying ages and ethnicities. Some of them are captured in “The Sarah Jones Show” for Bravo, including Joey, an Italian-American cop struggling to stay politically correct; Nereida, a young Latina with a quick wit and even faster tongue, Rashid, a wannabe rapper and Miss Lady, a homeless woman with attitude.

HERE comes the “One Day At A Time Reunion Special.” The series, which ran from 1975-1984, chronicled
the lives of a divorcee, Ann Romano (Bonnie Franklin), and her daughters (Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli). The off-screen buzz was always more interesting than the plots. Phillips’ drug arrest made headlines and Bertinelli married rocker Eddie Van Halen in 1981. As for Franklin, she remained drab throughout. Let’s hope she’s ditched the Dutch boy haircut.

On the rocks
BEST-SELLING crime writer Robert B. Parker’s Jesse Stone novels come to CBS in a TV movie called “Stone Cold.” Tom Selleck, whose career resurgence in this format has been a wonder, plays Stone, a small town police chief who’s fond of the ladies and of a glass of scotch after work. His days as an L.A. homicide detective are long behind him; there’s also an ex-wife in his dark past. Stone faces his demons when the New England fishing village he calls home – the name, Paradise, is a sure harbinger of mayhem-is rocked by a series of murders and the rape of a high school student. Jesse has to put down the whiskey and rally his inexperienced staff into fighting form to solve the crimes. Co-starring Mimi Rogers.
