Chaiken styles are popular with uptown mavens and downtown divas alike. At this year’s sample sale, you’ll find more than 200 samples as well as stock from the current season. Look for sizes 2-12 (you can try it on, but there’s no dressing room). White denim jeans are $30, and light-weight colored cords are $90, reg. $200; stretch cotton pants in a range of spring pastels and black and tan are $90, reg. $200. Sweater tanks are $40, reg. $80; napkin halter tops are $40, reg. $80; and khaki raincoats are $100, reg. $350.

They weren’t giving out any prices – but with thousands of items to choose from, this will be one of their biggest sales ever.

Kalinka loves prints – they’re featured on her skirts, dresses, Ts and scarves. At her sample sale, prices are wholesale and below: Moroccan-print bias-cut dresses in navy, aqua and red are $125, reg. $275; skirts in floral and other prints are $110, reg. $350; dresses with green lace detailing, aqua silk and pink sequin paper are $90-$275, reg. $250-$650; and knit cardigans in lilac, aqua, red and pink are $50-$80, reg. $225 and up. Infant apparel will also be available.

Accessory designer Bindya Lulla is having a sale on her made-in-the-USA handbags, totes and scarves. Most prices are way below wholesale (items retail for over $225): camouflage handbags are $45-$50; faux croc bags start at $30; leather and canvas bags are $30; and clutch bags with a chain strap are $35, as are Pucci-inspired print bags. Pashmina stoles, scarves and shawls in prints, embroidery and solids in a range of pinks, reds, blues and purples are $25-$150.
