Klensch clinched by Ch. 4 for May days

Ex-CNN fashion maven Elsa Klensch will be joining Ch. 4 next month for a series of reports.

Klensch has inked a deal to provide style pieces and commentary for Ch. 4’s 5 p.m. newscast, co-anchored by Sue Simmons and Jim Rosenfield. At this point, the deal only encompasses the month of May.

Rumors of Klensch’s involvement with Ch. 4 have been circulating since Elsa left CNN last fall.

Drive ‘Guy’ steered off the air at ‘NEW

Post radio reporter John Mainelli reports that WNEW (102.7 FM) isn’t renewing the contract of Sid Rosenberg, who co-anchored ‘NEW’s low-rated (26th place) “Sports Guys” show in morning-drive with Blaine Ensley and Craig Carton.

Rosenberg, off the air as of yesterday, had survived a round of personnel changes since “Sports Guys” debuted a year ago, after Steve Mason and Sue Kolinsky were fired.

‘NEW program director Jeremy Coleman says the station is “definitely sticking” with the show.

Tally one for Metro: A Jackie O exclusive

Metro’s “Full Frontal Fashion Weekly” is taking an exclusive look at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s “Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy-Onassis” exhibit, part of the museum’s “Jacqueline Kennedy, The White House Years – Selections from the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum,” which runs May 1-July 29.

This Sunday’s “Full Frontal Fashion Weekly” (8 p.m.) will feature Vogue editors Andre Leon Tally and Hamish Bowles taking an exclusive tour of the Jackie O exhibit, featuring eighty original costumes and accessories from the JFK Library and Museum in Boston.

“Full Frontal Fashion” producer Ron Fried says he picked the show’s 8 p.m. timeslot for good reason – it’s sandwiched between “60 Minutes” on CBS and “The Sopranos” on HBO.
