SOME real-life drama unfolded yesterday in the Brooklyn production office of the NBC show “Third Watch” – where a multi-alarm fire broke out injuring two.

A firefighter was treated for a laceration to the face and one person suffered smoke inhalation. Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital.

“Third Watch” – now in its second season – is an ensemble drama that chronicles the lives of New York City police officers, paramedics and firefighters working the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. shift.

In what could have been a scene straight out of the Monday night show, 25 units and 106 firefighters responded to the Greenpoint inferno.

The blaze, reported at 11:55 a.m. was upgraded to second alarm a half hour later and under control by 1:06 p.m.

Originating on the top floor of a three-story brick building, the cause of the fire is still undetermined.

The fire did not involve any of the show’s sets.
