Movie-minded collectors will have stars in their eyes when a slew of Hollywood treasures, from coveted costumes to classic cars, hits the auction block in Beverly Hills next month.
On Nov. 20, Julien’s Auctions will feature famous movie memorabilia from The Golden Closet, a vendor of vintage Hollywood props and costumes.
Among the Tinseltown artifacts are John Wayne’s leather gun belt, valued between $800 and $1,200, and a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses John Belushi donned in “The Blue Brothers.”
The Wayfarer shades are estimated to be worth between $10,000 and $20,000, according to a press release.
Collectors with real cash to burn could scoop up a 1924 Harold Lloyd Silver Ghost Rolls-Royce, which was driven by a chauffeur in the 1954 film “Sabrina,” starring Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart.
The stylish ride is estimated to be worth between $400,000 and $600,000.
Other interesting items include an original script of “The Godfather” and Charlton Heston’s headpiece from “The Ten Commandments.”
