Meghan Markle’s estranged dad is making a “deathbed” plea, begging his estranged daughter for a final chance to mend their fractured relationship

Thomas Markle, 78, sat down for a candid interview with Australia’s 7NEWS Spotlight, set to air this coming Sunday, just days before King Charles’ coronation. 

In a bombshell trailer, released on Friday, Thomas can be seen holding childhood photos of Meghan as he asks: “How can I fix this?”

The retired Hollywood lighting director suffered a stroke last year and fears he hasn’t got much time left to make amends with his Duchess daughter, who he hasn’t spoken to in five years.

The pair were once close, but their relationship soured shortly before Meghan’s 2018 wedding to Prince Harry.

Meghan’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, 58, also appears in the TV special stating: “She [Meghan] would still be a waitress if it wasn’t for dad.”

Samantha also hit out at Meghan’s marriage to Harry, describing it as “toxic.”

Meanwhile, the trailer shows that Meghan’s estranged half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., 56, is also set to dish details on the family drama, ominously stating: “We’re not going to go away.”

Meghan remains estranged from the father’s side of her family following her fall-out with her dad.

Thomas was set to walk his daughter down the aisle at her 2018 royal wedding before he was busted secretly collaborating with paparazzi to stage photos that showed him being measured for a suit.

He later underwent heart surgery saying the stress of the situation had caused cardiac issues.

The duo’s relationship deteriorated further after Meghan later accused her dad of leaking a private letter she had written to him after the wedding.

She spoke of her heartache at the alleged betrayal in last year’s Netflix docuseries, “Harry & Meghan.”

Meanwhile, the upcoming TV special with the Markle family will feature old videos of the former “Suits” actress, including footage of her at her prom, being crowned homecoming queen, and horseback riding as a child.

Meghan will not be attending Charles’ coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6, however, Harry will be making the trek to England for the historic event.

She will be staying at her home in Montecito, Calif. to celebrate her son Archie’s fourth birthday on the same day.

While the coronation festivities will occur over three days, the Duke of Sussex will only be in town for just the main event.

It will be the first time Harry will see his father and the rest of the royal family since he published his bombshell memoir “Spare” in January.
