Not since Molly Ringwald have we seen anything look so pretty in pink.

The brand new flamingo-hued Lounge downstairs at Chelsea eatery elmo takes its pastel cues – and a lot of its fittings – from Miami’s landmark Morris Lapidus-designed Eden Roc Resort which, in its heyday, attracted the likes of Lucille Ball, Jerry Lewis, Milton Berle and Ann Margret.

“Sex and the City’s” designer Patricia Field just christened the space with a Fashion Week after-party, and we joined the glamorous crowd oohing and aahing at the palm-motif wallpaper, mirror tiles, black patent banquettes and beautiful pinkish back-lit curtains.

When at the elmo lounge, we recommend you think pink drinks: Cosmos and watermelon martinis are the order of the day.

Enough of those little beauties and you’ll be flushing as rosy as the decor.

The Lounge at elmo, 156 Seventh Ave., between 19th and 20th streets, (212) 337 8000.
