He also directed episodes of “Finding Carter” and “Scream: The TV Series.”

According to IMDb, Flender’s last credit was directing the 2019 show “On Becoming a God in Central Florida” starring Kirsten Dunst.

The PBS alum is also a close friend of Conan O’Brien and directed his 2011 documentary, “Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop.”

Chalamet’s mother, Nicole Flender, is Rodman’s sister. She was an actress and dancer on Broadway.

One social media user wrote, “My point is this dude came from money and is only here because of his family’s industry connections. He would never be able to achieve his status if he came up like most of us, working two jobs while chasing the dream.”

A second person chimed in: “His mom was a dancer on Broadway. You don’t get on Broadway without being a member of the Actors’ Equity Association.”

“He and his sister look so much alike wow (Timmy’s mom Nicole),” another said.

These days, Chalamet is winning big during the 2026 awards season for his role in “Marty Supreme.”

The film is inspired by real-life professional ping-pong player Marty Reisman, who won several medals at the World Table Tennis Championships from the late 1940s through the 1960s.

Chalamet stars as the titular character, Marty Mauser.

He took home both the Critics’ Choice Award and Golden Globe for best actor. Chalamet is also nominated for an Actor’s Award and Oscar.

“Marty Supreme” features a scene in which Mauser willingly gets spanked by Milton Rockwell (Kevin O’Leary) with a real ping-pong paddle.

The “Shark Tank” host gave insight into working with Chalamet while at the 2026 Golden Globes.

“With Timmy, I didn’t like his character. So it’s really easy to rip him to pieces, no problem,” O’Leary, 71, told The Post. “That guy, his blind ambition, and [he] just runs over everybody. He just bulled everybody down.”

“So for me, it was easy to go after him,” he added. “And so I really enjoyed the moments we had together.”
