TINA Fey will return to her roots on “Saturday Night Live” next week as the first post-writers’ strike guest host.

Fey, who snagged a Golden Globe this year for her NBC comedy “30 Rock,” was the co-anchor of “SNL’s” “Weekend Update” for four seasons and was the show’s head writer.

“SNL,” which has been dark since the Writers Guild strike began in November, is slated to return Feb. 23.

Fey will become the third female former cast member to return as host. Others include Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Molly Shannon.

The following week, Oscar nominee Ellen Page from “Juno” is expected to be the show’s guest host.

During her time as the show’s head writer and the co-anchor of “Weekend Update,” Fey rarely appeared in sketches – although she was responsible for writing many of the funniest skits.
