A trio of new CD releases nabbed the top three spots this week.

Country act Rascal Flatts‘ “Feels Like Today” claimed No. 1, selling 200,946 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Pop-ette Hilary Duff took second place with her self-titled album and Southern rapper Ciara made her debut at No. 3 with “Goodies.”

Happy-go-lucky punks Green Day‘s rock opera “American Idiot” fell to the No. 4 spot after its second week, while rapper Nelly‘s “Suit” took fifth place. (His “Sweat” disc, released on the same day as “Suit,” dropped to No. 8.)

And teenage soul singer Joss Stone, whose “Mind, Body & Soul” tops the British charts, bowed here at No. 11.
