ABC is using a little bathroom humor – literally – in its new ad campaign.

The network plans to start pushing its show “Norm” with high-tech billboards on urinals in men’s rooms around New York and Los Angeles, Variety reports today.

The gizmos will be equipped with CD-ROMs that will play the voice of show star Norm Macdonald making potty jokes to alert viewers that the comedy is moving to Friday nights this fall.

Some of the milder cracks include: “Hey, watch your shoes!” and, “You’re a mover and shaker, and so am I.”

Simultaneously, the billboard will flash such messages as: “Another fine use of the color yellow.”

Michael Benson, senior vice president of advertising and promotion for ABC, said the Friday-night schedule is a marketing priority for the network.

“The audience will understand when we’re done that [Friday] is an adult night of comedy,” he said.
