NOW it can be confirmed – Howard Stern will be working with Spike TV on an animated series about his teenage years.

The project, “Howard Stern: the High School Years,” was rumored for a while and finally confirmed yesterday by Spike TV chief Albie Hecht – who guested on Stern’s K-Rock radio show yesterday as TNN officially morphed into Spike TV.

“It’s going to be a good cartoon . . . We’re at the very early stages of it, though,” Stern said. “I’ve seen some of the artwork. It’s very funny.”

“We’re talking next year, right?” said sidekick Robin Quivers.

“We hope!” Stern said.
