ABSTRACT

On Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden, one dog beat out 2,604 others to take the prestigious purple ribbon for Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. On Wednesday, the champ was feted at a swank luncheon at Sardi’s , where a waiter served him a giant beef burger – raw, of course – on a silver platter.

So, who is this peerless, pampered pooch?

His official title is Chi. Torum’s Scarf Michael, and he’s a six-year-old Kerry Blue terrier. He’s equally at home surrounded by cameras and microphones, or being interviewed by Charlie Rose, Connie Chung, Diane Sawyer, and Caroline Rhea, as he is in his doggy paddock back home in Acampo, California.
