Transgender teen activist Jazz Jennings has landed a TLC reality show.
“All That Jazz” centers on Jennings, 14, who was assigned a male gender at birth and has been living as a female since the age of 5.
Her supporters include her parents, Greg and Jeanette, college-age sister Ari, 17-year-old twin brothers and maternal grandparents.
Eleven episodes are scheduled to premiere this summer. The series will follow Jennings as she prepares to enter high school.
Jennings co-authored a children’s book about being a transgender kid and has appeared on “20/20.”
“Jazz” is the latest show to focus on transgender issues following “Transparent,” “Glee,” “Orange Is the New Black” and a rumored E! reality show about Bruce Jenner.
